Trimring doesn't fit

Hi,
I bought a couple of door windows with the trim rings. When I tried to line them up, there is a 1/4 inch gap on two of the four sides.

I placed white tape between the trim ring and the window to show off the gap

I spoke to Frank about it and he said that I should try pulling the trimring clip and resizing the ring. I'll try it tonight but was wondering if anyone had any tips and tricks so I don't wreck the trim ring.

My advice... If it was me, I'd have whoever sold them to you make it right.

It was an easy fix. Per Frank's Suggestion, I pulled the clips, realigned the metal ring, reclipped and it is all beautiful now. I even got the door window holes cutout and a dry fir of the windows done yesterday.

Now I just have to figure out how get the door handles installed, the skins glues on and hinges attached.
