i found 1/8 inch luan (finaly) 4x8 sheets 9.83$ can. pretty hard to find around her, but i got it from a speciality warehouse. i am practicing some radius cuts (cheep jigsaw... i will be renting a good one for final cuts)

i found some glue and i would like your opinion on it. it is bulldog grip pl 400 they say that it sticks to frozen lumber to 0 degree F just take the snow and ice off  is it the one. the salesman told me they had another one but i didn`t like the foaming part off it. www.lepageproducts.com i will make test this week and let you know if it realy work in cold weather. merry christmas to all.

I used PL construction adhesive on my TD. Here in USAmerica the package is different from the one on your link. Don't know if it's the same stuff or not. The one I used is Polyurethane glue but doesn't require "wetting" the surface prior to application. Comes out of the tube kinda brownish colored. Sticks to everything -- Don't get it on your hands  and how do I know!!

I"m not sure it would work in 0 degree weather.

The guys at the local RV shop swear by this stuff. My TD's still stuck together  I'd use it again.

Yeah, let us know how it works. And have fun with you build.

if you are cutting 1/8" luan you can get a clean and easy cut if you use a utility knife. a sabersaw can really chew it up unless your real carefull and use a fine blade . I cut all my 1/8" and most my 1/4" luan with a utility knife and as many passes as needed to part it. leaves a really clean cut edge.

I clamped a guide to mine and used a 1/4" panel bit in my router. Seemed to leave a good finish on the edges.
