While searching the web for different possibilities of overcoming the problem of the universally used hubs of 4 x 100mm and 5 x112mm here
in Scandinavia and Europe I came across this Company in Good Ol Indiana, USA..They also hava an Online Live Customer Service. Before I had a chance to notice I had called them.. Very pleasant folks and helpful. I spoke with Ginger and Matt there..

Image5 X 112 to 5 X 4.50 Wheel Adapter at $44.75 per adapter.

A-DAPT-IT USA Wheel adapters are made from 6061-T6 Billet aircraft aluminum. If this material is strong enough for a stealth bomber it is strong enough for you. Each set of adapters comes with standard 12m.m. X 1.50 American Made, Heat Treated, SAE Approved, OEM quality studs pressed into the adapters. (Specific stud upgrades are available upon special request, an upgrade charge does apply.) Each set of adapters is hand built to your specifications upon ordering. Our general lead time is 7-10 working days from the time you order.

The bolt pattern on our trailer hubs are 112mm or The Mercedes bolt pattern. I could have purchased Mercedes Wheels but just had to have the 14 x 6 nice looking Smoothies.. which we now have...

The 5 x 4.5" bolt pattern is the same as 5 x 114.3mm

I hope this could possibly assist other folks living outside of the USA
that has difficulty in finding the right Hubs..The adapters are made
to a minimum of 1" thick and up.. Also I found out that adapters are
illegal here in Finland to use on cars, however the Safety Inspectors
could not tell us if they are illegal on trailers...Im waiting on an answer
from them...

In my case I used Offset Bolts and they sit nice and snug.. Had to order them from Sweden...But the problem is solved.. This sure beats taking the hubs off and having a machinist plug up the ol bolt holes
and redo the bolt pattern.. even though its easily done...Luckily enough
we found the offset bolts through our friends in Sweden that deal with
hotrods and old classic cars..

But hopefully this will help others...and the adapters are not way out of
reach price wise..

Best Wishes to All
Classic Finn :)

So its true the adapters are illegal there too? Shame as they are illegal here :x . Received the call from our Safety Inspections Office .. yup the ones you had specially made dont look that much different really.. and saved on shipping...

Im going to keep it legal at least thru inspection . ..
If the trailer is inspected once then no further inspection is needed
if it is with no brakes..

With brakes it would have to be inspected once a year as the cars and
trucks do as usual..

But looks like weve overcome the problems to some extent Meelis..

Hyvä Meelis  Nice Wheels!

The same with the gas bottle cannot be stored on the front of the trailer..
It must be stored in a constructed container... And inside.. ohhh well
we,ll have ours in the back galley when the time comes..
