Anyone have detailed plans for a 4' x 8' camper cabinets and a galley in the back? Any ideas or plans?

I use a "layout stick" which is the same width as the cabinets. A length of 1X2 with pencil marks is your friend when making cabinets. If the stick fits in the opening & the cabinet fits the stick, it will always be the right size. A full size cabinet pattern (cardboard & a pencil) is the best way to see how things fit together.

Here was my "blueprint" for the galley. Best of luck!

Noseoil,

Did you shield your radio from your power converter? I put my radio close to mine like yours, and didn't shield it, now when I plug into 30A shore power, I can't catch any radio stations.

Tommy, mine works fine mostly, but I'm not sure why. My radio runs off of the 12v battery, since it draws so little juice. I use a solar panel which keeps up with most loads 99% of the time, coffee pot & AC are the exceptions, but that's summertime stuff & I have propane for coffee now.

The only problem I have is with a local station which is volunteer-run & operates with a very low transmitter output (try KXCI online sometime, Saturday is an excellent day for programming, Bluegrass to Blues at night). I do run a "shark fin" antenna on the roof, which has a boosted signal and may help a bit. There's no problem with the CD player, just that one marginal station.

Galley's are like snowflakes, no two are alike, unless you buy a manufactured one. I find it easier to get all the dimensions of the things going in the galley and layout where to put things. I do like noseoil and draw it up.
