Fixing to drill hinge screw holes.
Typically.....
1" in from ends, 6" oc?
#8x1 1/4" screws?
Panheads, oval counter sunk?
I see where its recommended to only screw down thru toof of body, not also thru drop leg into roof spar?
On hatch, drill thru drop leg, nit down thru hatch roof?
Also using 3m 5200 as sealant it it matters.

Thank you.

I drilled every 4" and 1" from the edge. I ended up with two screw's closer together at the edge as that is where, I believe, force on the hinge is greatest. I used 3/4" #8 counter sink screws with finish washers. I filled the washers with a bit of rope caulk to seal the screw. I also used the non hardening rope caulk under the hinge. The finish washers filled with caulk is a good way to keep water from migrating into the screw hole and rotting out around the threads..
