Has anyone tried/used this gasket from Trimlock for a rear hatch?
1/4" ply inserts into it negating the need for alum angle trim.
Good, bad review?

Yes. This is how my rear hatch is trimmed and sealed. So far no issues with leaks, seems to do the job even when I wash/rinse it with a fanning pattern from a spray nozzle on the hose.

Thank you. Yes, I found it in the Trim Loc catalogue. I thought it would provide a nice clean edge instead of the typical bent angle.
Glad to hear it works well for you. Is it very still in compression?

Do you have any pics of how you set that up?

It is easy to set up. I went ahead and ordered it. Closed it flattens to 3/4-7/8" wide. I laminated a rain channel also for it to but against.
It will look clean I think.
