Plan change # 1034

Postby Sonetpro » Tue Jan 17, 2006 5:05 am

I thought I had it figured out. I've finished the floor and cut the template and was ready to start the walls.
Then the Boss saw it.
She said it looked like a box and didn't like it. Said if it's a teardrop it should look like a tear.

So here is the mockup and the new profile.

Steve,, we all been there and done that,,, for some reason wemmens think they is tha boss,,, ohh yea they are I forgot,,, well when the boss says to do something ya just do it,, If da boss aint happy its gonna get either mighty crowded in the tear or ya gonna be lonely in thar by yourself,,

Being single, you would think I wouldnt have that problem,,, wrong,,,, women will seek out a happily single man, adopt him to supervise and before you know it ya got a semi wife, all the supervision ya cant handle but none of the benifits,,, (cooking, etc) and only when a suitable supervisor is found to take over the duties,, they sort of tag team ya and you are handed over on a platter to the full time supervisor,,

two words of advice,,,,, YES DEAR,,, the more ya use them the more ya stay ut of trouble,,good luck,,,

looks like ya got a good start

chipper

Chip, After 28 years I have the Yes Dear down pat. Ain't no sense in doing otherwise. And the supervision? I don't see how I drive to work everyday without her telling me how to drive, cause she sure does when she's in the truck.

Buying into the project ? She has now moved beyond that and is now supervising it.

Bledso,, we cant get by with out them,, They let us think we are in control and can take care of ourselves,,, its all a plot way bigger than any communist or terriorist plot and a lot more secretive,, nothing is written down and nothing is ever spoken,, its thru years of breeding the control factor into them and blind obiedience into us,,,

I have a girlfriend and 2 or 3 semi-wives that dont allow me out in the world with out some supervision,,, and they can supervise more than one man at a time,,, talk about multi tasking,,, my semi wives are married and still have time to look after me part time,,

its a mental telepathy thing or something,, I get ready to go somewhere and zap there it is,,, supervision ,,, they know where you are and what you are doing and how fast you are driving, if you sneaked a cigarette,, THEY KNOW,,,

Submitt my brothers,, ya cant win the battle,, they are too strong and they have nature on their side,, most of them are gonna out live us,,, I will be in my casket and some woman will say uncross ya hands Chip,, it dont look good,,,

Ladies we cant do it with out ya,,, please understand we need your help to put a blue shirt with a tan pair of pants,,, God knows we love ya though

Steve,

Her buying into it means you don't have to explain purchases for the "tear". I like the profile, she could be right.

Chip, You ever have one let you think you won the fight only to find out later it was what she wanted anyway?

The mock-up's roof looks flat, whereas the drawing is rounded. Is that because you didn't have enough material for the mockup?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

This is weird. I just figured it out that the top photo is the old profile, and I'm trying to delete this post, and that option isn't there.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then! I think she has the right idea, the new profile looks much better

Sure hope my girlfriend is not reading this, I'll never live it down.

After ya get the "yes dear" phrase down pat, ya need to learn "then again I could be wrong". That one'll really come in handy in disaggreements.
Chris :D

The tension between what is good enough and what is beyond that creates the space for character to become our work.
