What type of paint works best on canvas?

OK today I applied Titebond 2 with a paint roller, and then 10oz home depot canvas drop cloth. (By the way, most of those have seams! and one was not the full 4ft wide which forced me to overlap two pieces, leaving a visible seam).
So I have to start thinking about paints. I'm thinking exterior latex, but not sure. Also, gloss, semigloss, or matte?
experiences appreciated!

My front/rear sections are done with a good grade of exterior latex, semi-gloss. For my underside floor I covered the canvas with Koolseal latex roof coating, simply because I had the remains of 5 gallons laying around from previous campers.

We used Zinsser primer then Rust Oleum marine topside paint. Yeah, those seams stink on the canvas. We cut the seams apart and the hems and then used pinking shears (zigzag) to keep it from fraying as easily. It made the seams a lot less noticeable and lay down flatter. But, yeah, you can still see them. Only way to do it with no seams is order online I think from a specialty shop. But, we didn't have the time nor $$ for that.
