Well, I'm committed (or maybe should be) - got my trailer

OK, so it's looks like I am in this for the long haul. Sorry.
Considering my limited budget I would say that I am fully committed, having purchased a HF trailer. I now am the proud owner of 2 heavy boxes (which were in much nicer shape than some I have seen on this forum). I decided on the 1175# capacity 4 X 8 foldable with 12" wheels. Special ordered in red. Nice deal too. On sale for $219.00 but with the 20% off coupon including tax it was a sweet $187.35. With a budget of about $500 that helps a lot.
It will be rolling under a 5 X 8 lightweight teardrop with no galley, a bunk and sandwhiched everything.
Looking forward to meeting with you folks on a regular basis. Thanks for offering the intestinal fortitude to press on.
EZ

It really hit me that I was not backing out of this when I stared putting the trailer together. Good luck with your build and keep us updated.
BTW - The HF coupon is now 10% off your entire purchase. Getting my list together.

Congrats EZ. We all should be committed.

I am not sure what I'm going to do now that I have only to register and insure my van. The handbrake(wife) has informed me that I have to catch up on the jobs that need doing around here b4 I do anything else in the shed. Haven't even told her about the ideas I have for the next one

Have no idea how to break it to her
Have fun and keep us posted.
Cheers
Paul

Victor Star, I saw in another post that you also just picked up a HF trailer. Good luck to you as well. Yes, now we have to do this. I am looking forward to this project. After some of the stuff I have built this should be fairly easy. Big parts in small numbers. Won't be a show TD but functional. Most of the campers on this site are much nicer than what I expect to turn out. Maybe I will be surprised.

I'm in exactly the same boat.

Let me know how you break it to her. If you live through it maybe I'll try it.

Paul,
Try more than a few of these, mate.
You folks down-under have some of the greatest inventions...

Congrats EZ, gonna finish my trailer this week. I'v found that this is what you want to spend. My advice is research, spend wisely and shop for bargains. Since I started gettin' mine together I've had $50-$75 stuff gave to me. Good luck

Congrats, EZ! That's my model.
You gonna modify her like most of us have done that have used the Cubby plans?
(By the way--how's your back? Mine STILL hurts since May, and I carried the pieces from the truck one by one.)
