Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

I replaced the fluorescent tubes in my galley light with LEDs last weekend. The tubes kept burning out in cold weather. I tore out the guts of the light and installed three LED strips. My current draw went from 1.2 amps to 0.4 amps with the conversion. The LEDs shouldn't have any trouble with cold weather and should last 5 times longer. The light is a little more blue than I would like but it should be plenty to cook by. Don't want to add salt instead of sugar...

I got three of the LB1-W12 White LED strips, two interconnect jumpers, 6 mounts and two power jumpers. My fixtue is 18" long which is why I got three strips. You could use two strips with a 12" fixture and still have enough light. I used one strip for the cabin light so I knew I needed at least two strips for the galley to have enough light. I can take a picture of the inside of the light if you want a closer look. I got the two little bar lights at the bottom of the hatch from them as well. I wired them into the switch for the strip light so they all come on with one switch. The cabinet faces were in shadows without them, I have light inside the cabinets with them.
