Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Greetings from the Ice Box of Reindeerland...

I was going thru some ad,s here in Finland and I came across these rims
today... The gentleman wants 80 euro or 97.00USD for them and all 4...Im interested


but what are they from? Or what year? He says the 1920,s maybe but not sure.. And another thing they are only surface rust and with no pitting... He states they are 21 inches... and 6 bolt cant tell by the
photo

I could use these on a future build ... Are these worth anything?

Would you folks know?

Get them cleaned up and chromed... They'd look great!!

Im willing to go get them since they are near by... about an hour drive..
even if I dont need them right now... These are very rare here whatever they are and the price for all 4 isnt too bad....

They would look great chromed or powdercoated... My 37 has 6 bolts but
dont know if these would fit... but nice for another teardrop for sure...

finn. I think thats a fair deal. A nice sand blasting and fresh paint could turn a proffit. Or as you stated for future use. Be a good idea to get them at least blasted and primed just to prevent any further damage.

I'm not sure about the offset, but the bolt pattern will fit your 37 Chevy.
I believe it was Ma3tt who had a pair of those a while back, they look similar to the wire wheels that came on Model A Fords. The Ford wheels were 5 bolt though. I may eventually locate a pair for my trailer, it takes the same 6 bolt pattern.

rims on their teardrop?

Im going to check on these in the afternoon for sure...I think they would
look real sweet on the 37 or a teardrop..I need to double check the bolt
pattern on these for sure since Im looking only at this photo so cant tell
until I talk with the gentleman...

Heikki.. what would they be worth you ask.. Well not a pin point price but lets say that 97 usd would be a fair deal. However, after a little clean up it would be a REALLY good deal!!
Also check out eBay motors vintage auto parts wire wheels. There are several sets on there ond I think you'll find the price of 97 usd lower than what is on eBay.

I,ll check them out...on ebay... Sure would be nice to see these on a
teardrop as well...

The ones on Ebay are 5 bolt 5.5" pattern. Would look good on a teardrop also if you could find an axle with that pattern.

Very Nice Combo!!! Cool and its definitely a trip to go get them... Time
flies when your havin fun.... I just noticed its 0425 in the morning
on a wintery Monday.... I best get myself to some sleep.. then off we go
shopping..
