Yet another newbie planning things out

Hello everyone- I'm jumping into the fray with plans to build a Glen-L Sequoia http://www.glen-l.com/campers/sequoia.html Like a few other recent posters I need the ability to sleep two adults/one child. The side mounted galley hatch (able to cook in or outdoors) and the little spot for a porta potti are both pluses. It will also be able to carry our tandem bike inside while on the road. Being a child of the 70's, I find the profile somewhat nostalgic, although definitely not as graceful as a tear. I've got the plan package in-hand, just need to get a tax refund check and to convince the wife that this is much more important than rebuilding our retaining wall in the yard (or fixing gutters, or ?) The plans specify a custom welded frame, but it looks like the HF #1800 will do the trick nicely. Currently kind of stumped on the windows- need one 18x30 and one 18x36- can HD or Menards special order aluminum utility sliders or is there a better source that I'm missing?
Regards to all,
Joe

Joe..welcome to our little board of extremist buiders, dreamers, schemers...get the wife involved in decorating the interior and such...it'll help bring her around...from reputation I know Glen-L is popular but having never seed the plans I can't comment of the trailer other than to say the HF trailer is widely used around here. At the top of the page, use "Rich's List" and "links/sources of supply" to hunt for windows...ther are a lotta options...look in your phone book for Al awning/windows/fabricator if you just gotta have a custom size...Joe we have a hangup here...we just luv de pics, so as you start to build and seek info, we ask to see your pics...puhleeez...that way we can all ohh/ahh over your build and offer encouragemant and advice...and of course you will want to prove that ya did it ya'self

Hey Joe..
Welcome to the farm!
Try Here! For some radiused sliders. I've used these type on three Tears so far.
Grant Whipp Has similar units, only mill finished, I believe a better price too!
Have fun..Remember Da Pic's!!! ;)
