Painting over "The Mix" with latex

I tried to search for this information on the forum but cannot find the exact answer to my question. I want to paint the outside of my camper with latex paint. Previously I had used diluted (with acetone) epoxy to seal the wood, sand, primer then paint using latex with great results. I am concerned that the nature of "The Mix" (polyurethane varnish and mineral spirits/paint thinnner) contains oils that will not allow latex to stick very well. I can't seem to find any posts that specifically state someone used latex paint over The Mix. Maybe it is time for some made scientist experimenting......

Trying to save time and money but maybe that is not the best idea in this case. Anyone have experience with The Mix and latex paint?

The Mix and latex paint?

I don't. But it should be about the same as attempting to paint latex over oil-based paint.

Sand or otherwise rough it up, clean well, then Glidden Gripper primer, then your UV resistant outer coating of choice.

I always use Zinsser oil based primer. It will stick to anything.
