Here are some photos of the almost finished interior of my modified teardrop. I still need to trim it off, put in a bathroom door, etc. But I can taste the adventure already.

I would love to, but my son and I are taking it to the 2006 Am Worlds Disc Golf Championhip in Tulsa. http://www.2006amworlds.org/ We both qualified this year so we can't miss it.

I would like to take in a couple teardrop gatherings this year, preferrably in the western US, any ideas?

Thanks,

Chris

Wow! I really like the window and door trim. If you could post a resourse for them I can add them to my list. :applause:

Hey Tiki,

Could you explain where your bathroom is, and why you call it a bathroom door. I went to your site and looked over your photos, but I can't put my finger on where your bathroom is...

Hi Mike,

This is the bathroom section

Image

It is just a porta potti with a sunken floor and raised ventilated skylight for sitting headroom. I plan on installing a accordion style door for privacy. There will also be a 16" X 16" compartment hatch on the side for easy removal of the porta potti when dumping. The round vent you see is a solar powered unit.

Take it easy,

Chris

Thanks for clarifying that Chris... so it's similar to this design...

Where are your pillows going to be?

That design is quite similar, I have a squared off back with a large kitchenette hatch. I'll post photos of the outside soon.

There is a single elevated (removeable) berth running fore and aft on the left side, and a queen running side to side, with feet underneath the single. It is designed to sleep 3, but realistically 2.

Hi Miriam,

I picked up my windows and trim off of eBAY. In fact, I purchased quite a bit of the trailer items on eBAY, even the diamond plate!!

Thank you! I am still in the collecting stage so I may visit the BAY. :) I am going to my brothers to see his trailer. He says it is an old fold out camper, but the wheels sound too small.

I can see you have a solid wall on the loo, I wonder if a shower curtain might work better on mine. My husband has a thing about bumping elbows, knees and toes.

The solid wall serves 3 functions, roof support, privacy and a berth support.

By the way, the door trim and door accessories came from Cary @ Camp Inn. They are very helpful and put together a great door kit.

Keep us posted on your trailer.
