Attaching camper body to trailer

I am planning a Wanderer 10 build from Andy G.'s simple plans. One question I have, as a complete TNTTT newbie, is pretty basic: "How is the camper body attached to the trailer?"

The Wanderer uses two 1 x 6 boards directly over the trailer cross beams as key structural members, but what is the best way to then attach the body without weakening the trailer? Here's a detail from the plans for clarity:

Thanks and regards,

Matthew

Anyone have any thoughts on this? I have yet to find anything like a build log of a completed Wanderer. Cheers, Matthew

There was a large discussion thread about this previously, there are different opinions on what kind of bolt to use. I choose to use 12 elevator bolts around the floor, countersunk in.

You can use one 1/2" bolt in the center, plenty of shear strength (grade 5 is 14,000#). Otherwise, use a few on each side, here's a link on single shear of common bolts.
