I have thought a bit about a foam glass trailer pod . I would bet if you used the right foam you'd not need any epoxy. I think I seen it some warefoam and an outside skin with epoxy holding it together.

Single sided Aluminium Composite Panel, also known as Probond or ACP, includes a 3mm polyethylene core with heavier 0.12mm white gloss aluminium skin on one side.
Often referred to as FLAT PANEL Grade
price is roughly €40 per sheet vs €12 per sheet for ply plus the price of paint.
