Router bit
Needing a 1-1/4” guide bushing (Porter Cable 42021) for Tony Latham’s interior galley lip (p77). It appears this is no longer available, and we can’t seem to find an equivalent from other companies.
Any ideas? TIA

In all my years as a Cabinetmaker I've never had the need for one that big.
I have the 42000 set and that size is not included.
Wish I could see what you're attempting to do as I'm sure there's another way.
Porter Cable brand is on it's way out, too bad I have 13 of their routers.

Danny,
it’s used to cut the radius on the hatch lip tongue for water tight integrity following Tony’s book.
I will the say it works. I took my TD through a coin op car wash today to get the crud off on this trip I’m on and not a drop of water in the galley.

Pretty sure I bought mine through Amazon in June.

I think this may be the one. Look in the Q and A someone gives the description as 1 1/4”

https://www.amazon.com/PORTER-CABLE-420 ... 30&sr=8-24

Try cut and pasting this in the Amazon search bar.

I made this edit to the book last week because of this issue:

For the lip, install a 1-1/4” guide bushing (Porter Cable 42021) in the router base plate and a 1/4” spiral up-cut bit. (Note: This bushing is hard to find. You can use a 1” bushing but the hatch spacer –when you get to that point– needs to be 1/8” wider.)

Can you make an MDF template and use a top bearing flush trim bit.
