For those who love da pic's, here's another one.

I finally got the hang of mixing that bondo to fill in all my gaps. Now I'm starting the painting phase. This pic shows the first coat of oil base primer. A few more pic's in my album showing the use of bondo on the front slope of the camper.

Thanks Jack and I got a question. Can you use bondo on a painted surface or should you sand down to the wood before using it.

Bob, I am by no means a bondo expert but if you roughup the paint, I don't see why you would haveta go all the way back to bare wood...how about it, you Bondo experts out there...

I think it would depend on what you're wanting to fill, if it's minor to moderate imperfections I think I would use something like spackle. http://www.dap.com/product_details.aspx?product_id=61 It's designed for use over the oil base primer you have on the trailer.
When I was in the autobody class back in high school, they always told us to put bondo on roughed up bare metal only. I don't really know how it would react being applied over a painted wood surface.

Hey Bob, if the paint is 'cured' good, dry and hard, you would have no problem with putting bondo on top of the paint. Just make sure the paint is adhered good and scuff it good so the bondo can stick to it.

Thanks to all four your help. I figured somewhere down the road I'll get a dent on the side walls. So I just wanted to get some idea of what my options would be.
