Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

My build is going to have the galley hatch on a vertical surface which as I understand it isn’t how hurricane hinges were designed to support. Thinking of trying a centaflex hinge though they’re a bit tricky to get over here. Does anyone have experience with them?
