Collapsible table leg options

I have a question for the "all wise hive mind". I'd like to build a collapsible table for my Vistabule-style teardrop...such as this:

174329

I've found such table leg hardware like this:

174330

...but it's larger than I'd like (2" diameter tube; 6" diameter base). I'm looking for something with a maximum leg tube diameter of about 1" - 1.5". And I only need the leg itself to be 12-15" high (although I can cut a long one down in size).

Anyone have any pointers to such hardware? Or other suggestions?

Thanks!

You could always opt for regular pipe fittings. Two plain floor flanges and an appropriate length of galvanized. (But that's not collapsible.)
However, you'll always have that leg right in the way of your knees. Might I suggest a hinged and folding 90* brace. Lift the table surface up and fold the brace out from the wall.

Just a thought.....Roger

There are crutches or canes and walkers that all have simple adjustments for changes?
