The BREDBOX is on it's way!

Before the rain started this evening, I got the trailer into the 'barn' /workshop. My son's trusty dog, Dakota, who is now the teardrop guard dog! Image
Then the ripped 2x4's made the frame and the plywood floor is on.

Now it's flipped over and getting ready to cut the 3/4 insul board tomorrow, rain or shine, and glue/screw that on.That's my helpful neighbor and friend, Phil. Without his help, it would've certainly taken twice as long and might not have been good and straight!! haha

No footwell , thanks to the trailer maker who didn't pay attention to my instruction. And now I don't really have room to put the spare under the pillow area... so I guess it will go in the trunk of my car.

Hey Dave... yes, you better get yours ready cuz I'm already thinking of campouts here in the MO OK KAN ARK area that we could all gather up! Mine won't be as pretty and prestine as yours, but level straight dry strong and a coat of paint will be fine!

oh, and MIKE>>>>>> yes, my dirty old neighbor Tom he does one helluva welding job, he's a good guy! It just cost me about $15 for the tube and a big bottle of Seagram's VO for him to do it. And put up with his flirting and storytellin', ya know.

Thanks everybody .... JULIE

OH ps...... That quanset hut shaped workshop, people almost offered money for it at the estate sale a few years ago ! haha
Phil even commented on the way it was built... I'll snap a couple of pix of the framing inside. My dad was an 8th grade schooled , but lifetime educated carpenter, built this whole house himself and in the 80s , he built that 'barn' himself. I will have to actually measure it , but now with the trailer in there , I could probably fit 5 trailers in there. Level paving block floor and lots of storage area, windows... will be a good spot for winter storage of the tear too.

BUT NO ELECTRICAL, lights or outlets, etc!!! There is a line (12 ga?) running from the electrical at the side of the house and out to the south window with an outlet box. then I have an extension cord. I am just using the breaker inside to cut the power at night/whatever.

So that will be another big project --- neighbor Tom said he'll come down and show me how to do it... just run 12 ga out there, put a breaker box and hook up some shop lights and about eight outlets against one wall.

Come see me sometime!

What would be more of a turn-on to a guy (no, not GUY Guy, A guy) would be the sweet smell of fresh cut wood and a lady who is not afraid to use the saw.... :R GO LADIES!!!

OK, I guess I over-stepped some sort of a boundary here

Good for you, Julie. If it's a race, you're two steps ahead of me! :x See you at Beaver's Bend. Hey, if your floors put together, maybe you could set up a tent on it!?
