Cabin Car weight determined

Finally got around to weighing the trailer.
Since so many have asked how much...the answer is a stout 2400 pounds, more or less.

The scale house didn't have time to let me unhook to get all the numbers (didn't charge either) but with just the trailer wheels on the scale, it read 2100#.

It is all I can do to lift the tongue without breaking something, so about 300# pounds there.

This is dry weight...though the propane tank was full (11 pounds).
If the water tank, and holding tank were full, it would add another 195#.
Then food, ice, etc. another 200 or so.
This one doesn't qualify as a "lightweight" :D
Though weight, or lack of, was never an issue.
It has everything I wanted, and it pulls great!

Also got the first road testing done.
70 mph. with no sway or problems.
Due to the axle being set back so far, I suspect it would trail just fine at a hundred as well.

Rob , Thanks for the info and the reassurance... Mine's built on a heavy old boat trailer to start and it's LARGE (12'x6') so will probably weigh a ton ... No bathtub though ....That's too COOL !!!!
