Posted: Sun Apr 16, 2006 11:17 pmHey thanks guys! This is a joint project for the hubby and me. We get along pretty good after almost 25 years, but it seems we get along best when we have a project to do together.
We help each other. I was bought up as my Dad's gopher. Guess I've always been a rodent of some sort. The husbands parents were divorced when he was only 8 so he's had to learn it all on his own as far as wood working tools and such.
The cat...well Ted is just happy to be where ever we are!

You don't want a thick coat. It will be sticky. Those look like Armstrong VCT. There are 2 Items you would need. You need a sealer & polish. Check out these instructions on the bottom of page 2.

If you have a cleaning supply store around they may sell something similar in quarts.
If you can not find the sealer & polish in smaller quantities, you can also use Armstrong Shinekeeper. It is used on their residential products. You would want to apply 3-4 thin coats with a lambs wool applicator.
