Two questions
1. I saw a post on this site about Henry adhesives. Does anyone know about using this to glue the aluminum to the sides fo a TD? Home Depot carries their roof coating products but never heard of adhesive.
2. How do you get bad scratches out of aluminum sheeting? When the truck repair center cut mine off the roll, they were not overly cautious about laying it on the concrete floor to roll it up. Has anyone used stuff called perfect polish? thanks, Rod

Lots of people have used the Henrys 663 to glue the aluminum to the sides. I'll find out how it works this weekend.

I'm supposed to pick the top skin from the semi trailer place next week, I hope they don't man handle it. What kind of price did they charge ou?

I used it. It's in the carpet aisle. It's outdoor carpet adhesive. It worked well. Just make sure you have your bottom edge on to support it and something to hold it in place, It takes a week to cure. I used painters tape to hold the edges down while it was curing.

I had the same experience from Western Trailer Repair in Seattle. I've tried the Fitz polishing ball with some results but the scratches will never go away. Danny

That is the same way I installed the skin on mine. It was also scratched so I just used scotch brite pads and scratched the entire skin to match. Now everytime I wash it I use the scotch brite pad for the wash mitt and it does not look too bad. It would be hard not to scratch it after a while anyway.
