Hi all,
its been a while since youve heard from me. me and moneybags just got back from campin and pickin with frinds and i was looking forward to getting back to work on the little camper and i had to put the build on hold.had to do the heart attack thing with a 95% blockage and 2 more then surgery and a busshell basket full of pills and docs of all kinds botherin me tellin me what to eat and drink and such but anyway back to the important stuff about this hatch thing,i got my hinge from grant and im thinkin bout makin this hatch start a little closer to the back of the trl than right at the edge of the angle, like maybe 4in back that will kinda keep the gally short enough that i can reach all the way to the back of the top shelf.has anyone else done this on a weekender.recovery time is teardrop planning and aquisition time!

Been wondering where you were, Critter. Glad to hear you're back among us and doing well. For heavens sake, get back to work on the trailer. Best medicine for heart attacks is something you enjoy. (less stress) :applause:

Critter,

Glad to see a little thing like artery blockage hasn't stopped you from the important things like worrying about the next phase of your tear. Good to have you back. So, when you gonna' get goin' on that little house remodel you've been planning ? BTW, should I bequeath my signature line to you?

Critter, So glad hear you're recovering. My tear isn't a "weekender" shape, but I made my galley lid shorter than most. Several reasons for this. #1 I wanted the storage below my counter top. #2 The shorter curve is a lot easier to build. #3 It fit the shape and dimensions that I wanted. Even with the shorter lid, it isn't a sure thing on the fit. I admire these guys who build a "full" lid. My galley isn't as elaborate as some, but it works for me.
Stay on the program and get yourself ready to really enjoy the teardrop.

Happy to hear of the great Dr. report. Seems your Dr is needing to take his own advice.

PS leave the Slimfast out and eat the ice cream. Same difference if you keep it to 300 calories. ;) Besides Slimfast is so not good for you. :o

Blessings to you and yours. Pic's too please.
