Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Since the weather is crappy, I worked on the front cabinet the last couple evenings.

The right side will be a closet to hang coats & my hunting vests.


I was able to put the trim around the closet opening in in one piece.


I ran out of molding so I will finish it later.


Notice the 12 volt outlet in the bottom area. That will be my power outlet for my C-pap machine.


I built a wood frame & covered it with a piece of 1/8" cherry plywood. I am trimming the opening with 7/8" countertop edging. I plan on not putting doors on this cabinet.

Sorry about he bad pictures, poor lighting & taking pictures with a digital video camera is not the best combo.

Looks great! They way you have the shelves positioned, it looks like the frame will hold the contents in place just fine.

I am not a big fan. I can't seem to get the drill jig to repeat to proper angle. Some of the screw head stick out above the face & some don't. It could be the operator.

For my hardwood face frames I will use my biscuit cutter, glue & clamp them.

Are you using the Kreg Jig? It's the best portable one.

Any of y'all using a Torx screw in construction? If you haven't tried 'em, you should! Not only won't they strip out like a Phillips head, but you can drive one o' them babies right through a 2X4, even with a battery-driven drill. I am a carpenter and have built entire projects with them.
