Okay

I have completed the flooring now.. thought Id share the material used. The wood I used to make the wood frame is 1 x 4 inch Birch Wood.

1st the flooring so called "sandwich" It contains 2 sheets of 6 millimeter sheets of Wisa Transport Ply which is coated on one side faced down towards the pavement.. then 1 inch of what we call SPU..
with tongue and groove joints to easily join the sheets with a foam sealer
named Sikaflex at the joints and all edges and corners..

The sheets are aluminum paper on both sides. Each joint was sealed and Aluminum taped for extra sealant..

The Wisa Transport is of very high quality. The sandwiched frame was installed to the frame with Self Drilling Screws and Wood, Metal Adhesive, also from Sikaflex.

Came out very nice... The ceiling will also have the SPU insulation boards...this spu is specifically used in Sauna building. It keeps moisture
out real well. And it works great in places that the temp changes rapidly.

Well thats it for now..

:applause:  ;)
I would say over-build but you have more extremes in temp. than we do. Our biggest issue is humidity. Only in S. Missouri can you have 60 percent humidity with a dought. Some ply that keeps that out would be worth the cost. ;)

Summers almost gone
