Ira, Remember, this is a TTT, not a TD. Door position all depends on the trailer design. My axle is located about 3"-4" behind the center cross member of the chassis, and the front edge of my door is only about 4"-5" from the front end of my chassis. The shape allows my galley cabinet to stick out front. Most of it is in front of the chassis.
