I have been doing research and reading posts for the last couple of months. I bought my trailer at the end of May. Started with a 4X8 HF trailer to build a 5X8 chassis on with a floating tongue box to house the breaker panel, A/C, and deep cell. We did have to have to axle extended one foot to get the wheels past the chassis.

Things are going well. It is a learn as we go project. Blocking out Sunday afternoons, and a few hours a week, I think thing are going well.

I will post photos in my album.

Welcome! Look forward to seeing the pics of your build. So, did you put a new axle on, or cut and weld an extension into it?

Had the axle extended by local welder who does all of my family's important jobs.... those are the jobs that we dont trust our welding.

He cut the axle, slipped it in 2x2 steel, and then welded plate over exposed side of the "U" shaped alxe.

Madjack

Thanks for the response....

"H3" stands for the "Hash House Harriers"

It is an international drinking club with a running problem.

There are about 1500 chapters world wide...

A few of the Fl chapters have large campouts throughout the year....

Because of this, I thought a TD would be great.... Quicker the set up.......

You can guess the rest....

Your Ghet-tow looks like a good design. You could even put the porta-potty in the front where you have that angled nose!

Keep the pictures coming!
