Postby ELCHILEON » Sun Jun 28, 2009 9:17 pm

Hey fpoole ...

Well,.... your not completely safe doing the " BBQ " !
I was trying my hand at a little " Slow Smoking Meats " with my " Large Green Egg ", and managed to singe all of the hair off my " Arms & Eyebrows " :?

Toooo much " BEER " that day

p.s. : Lots of other useful " BBQ " info on the " Nakedwiz " website !!

How long are they estimating to completion?

Looks like you'll have it by fall?

I enjoy fly fishing the Eastern Sierra, too. We usually head up there towards the end of season in early October (Columbus Day weekend). Might be a good chance for a teardrop gathering when the weather is cooler and the crowds are thin! Have fun with your new teardrop...hope you get camping soon!
Flying a plane is no different from riding a bicycle. It's just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes.

Hey.. I haven't been able to hit any of the local lakes or get up to the " Sierra's " this year , for one reason or another ??

I also really need to renew my membership, and get back into my favorite hobbies " Camping & Fishing "!!

Yamaha Generator

Postby ELCHILEON » Wed Jul 22, 2009 7:25 pm

Okay All.. I was seriously considering getting a " Solar Panel or Generator " .

After a few " e-mails " discussions with " Cary " at Camp-Inn, I decided to purchase the " Yamaha Conversion " from " U.S. Carburetion Inc. "
http://www.yamaha-propane-natural-gas-g ... 2000is.htm

Cary, kindly agreed to " Inspect / Prep / Adjust " to make sure it was working properly.

Just an Additional " FYI ":
I've read several threads over on the " Airstream Forum " concerning the problems encountered with trying to figure out how to properly adjust the " Converted Units ", on both the " YAMAHA & HONDA's

Here's a photo of a " Yamaha Generator/Inverter " thats been " Converted " to use " Propane or Gasoline " (Dual Fuel ).
Image

If anyone is interested ?
You should contact " Camp-Inn " for additional advice !
They might be working on other " Options " to consider
