Raindrop Unveiled (really)

Here's where you can talk to the manufacturers about custom built trailers, etc...

I've been nagging Cary for a 2+2 design, but the improved Raindrop blew me away!

I like the big front window and the couch. The stacked bunks are great.

Now I really need to start saving!

Funny story about the Raindrop. It has been on its maiden voyage for about two weeks now and is almost to Minden. Our employee Joe (the new Raindrop owner actually) is using it for a family trip.

I have been getting emails the whole way along his route from people who saw it and just wanted to tell us how cool it was. Not the normal inquiries about our trailers, they are just letting us know we are cool.

You should have given Joe one of the Nextel radios with the GPS tracking feature so we could track Joe's progress to Minden online!

I was out of town when he drove from Indy down I-65 through Nashville.

Cary,
The raisable bunk is way cool... who within the company gets the credit for that feature and the overall design?
I need to go look at those pictures again!!!
BTW- if you're still considering a copper clad unit... 3' wide sheets are the max here in the states, there is one mill in Finland that produces 4' wide sheets... but that's it.

Nice looking unit. Its hard to tell from the pics but would it be possible to fit a portapotti into the front instead of the bunks?

Dear Cary,

Congrats to all at Camp-Inn. You have contibuted greatly to the evolution of the teardrop while keeping to the original concept of spatial efficiency and aerodynamic integrity.

Thank you for not making the bunks bigger thereby providing a superb excuse to take the grandkids along while leaving their parents behind. This will keep alive the natural order of grandparents spoiling their grandkids just for the love of it while exacting a beautiful revenge on their parents. :D
Regards,

Guy

Cary,
That's the one I want, and I don't even have kids to bring along!

Having all that view out the front windows is just great and a place to sit.
Love the styling.

Beautiful.

Wow Cary,

I'm impressed with your design. It looks good and it's really functional. For anyone that is planning on taking along 1 or 2 small kids, it's perfect!

It looks cool too! In all the teardrop designs I've seen, the bunks have been placed in the back, and storage suffered as a result. You've given us a way to have our cake and eat it too, with no lost storage. Awsome!

Sounds like you'll be building teardrops for years to come! Good job!

I am glad your gathering was a success. I just got through looking at Bill and Joans pictures of it. If Gail didn't make it, who was the third Camp-Inn there? I seen a third one in the pictures but couldn't tell who it was. I see you were right by Bill and Joan at the gathering, couldn't miss that shiny Hunter in the pictures.

Cary

Besides Bill and Joan's and Alan-Leslie we had Rick and Peg with a 2004 Camp-Inn. I believe theirs came from Popular Hill RV. I see Popular Hill only has one left in stock, are you going to be working triple shift now to keep up on all the orders as well as give us some stock here in the east?

Oh and about the Raindrop couch... is their a bit of a drop downl so you can sit up at all? Can't quite tell from the photos.

Gary,

You guys did great. Trend setter. That's what you are. Nice to see a NEW TEARDROP design. All the old timers who thought up these trailers would be proud of you.
