Dub Box Adventure Campers (Portland, Oregon)

Here's where you can talk to the manufacturers about custom built trailers, etc...

A friend of mine just told me about these guys. Apparently, he was invited to bid on building out the interior of the prototype, but got underbid ("by someone who was willing to lose money on the job.")

They make lightweight (c. 1300 pounds) trailers styled after old VW microbuses.

Nice,? But why alter a multi window VW bus?
I saw a multi window bus go for around $100,000 a few years ago at the Lemay show and auction in Tacoma Washington. :D Danny

I don't get the styling either, unless you've got an old VW bus to pull it with.

But they seem to mostly do commercial food truck trailers — and for Portland, a food trailer styled like that is probably attractive.

But the interior has some nice design features. The table. The U-shaped settee that converts into a bunk.

That was a lot easier to watch with the sound turned off.

CUTE - did see one passing me a few weeks ago, heading south past my place here in Washington state heading for the Camano Island State Park. Was being towed by a newer Dodge Caravan and yes, I agree = it would have been a 'cooler' look, if an old VW van had been towing it instead...................
