List of Teardrop manufacturers (Past and Present) Help 2 Add

If you are doing research on companies that build teardrops, this list may come in real handy.

I tried to list all Teardrop manufacturers I have found here and on other websites.

Some websites were blocked, for whatever reason, and marked as such (Proceed at your own risk!)

Some websites are no longer on the web (Dead Link) so you may want to go to archive.org and enter the web address in their wayback machine to see if you can review an archived website from years ago.

Some actually had a "SECURITY RISK" block! on my browser. No idea why and I am not willing to research it. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK!

It seems that the heyday of teardrops has faded a little, however they are still a viable and loved option for many campers.

Hope this helps someone in their research.

Ten years ago, I started doing the same thing, bookmarking teardrop manufacturers. A lot of those companies went belly up. Most, I suppose, were dreams that faded away. I know of one that was a pyramid scheme and another that was just plain fraud.

In 2004 I bought a Silver Shadow built in north Idaho. Two years later, he sold out to Little Guy, so some just transferred hands. I think that's what happened to Cricket Campers too.

I have been reading TnTTT for quite a while before signing up. I have sadly read stories of Pyramid schemes and defunct companies.

Unfortunately, there is always an opportunity for fraudsters to get their greedy mitts involved!
