Now that you mention it Bruce, I don't get any either, nor do I get emails when someone leaves a PM for me. There was post to an old thread I had subscribed to recently and the only way I saw it was noticing it in the list of new posts. Then a few days ago I noticed there was a new PM waiting for me. It had been there a day and no email came to me. The email I use here gets other email from other forums regularly so the problem is not with that. ???
Responding as requested. Too bad I had not subscribed to this earlier. I have now chcked the subscribe for new posts now though. I will look in later this evening again
I changed my email address used here. Can somebody who sees this note make a comment so I can see if I am sent (or receive) a notification? * Thank you.
* Years ago on a forum where I was an admin we had a problem with the system sending emails to gmail addresses for a while. So I switched to a non gmail address just to see. Should not matter but it cost nothing to change ..
Upon returning from weekend camping I was surprised to find several emails of a thread I've posted in. It hasn't worked for weeks, thanks, Danny

Yeah that's something the phone companies recently implemented... The ISP's requires all sending mail server IP addresses have a valid PTR record set up. I have a valid PTR record, the host just had to point it to the right place. In the meantime I learned how to restart the email daemon all by myself! Imagine that!
