Gallery hatch work

Gadgetman's hockey sticks would be too big to build on this version of a weekender; Instead, I built in a drop down table since I made the gallery so short...

Then I can make hockey sticks like Gadgetman, and have an upper part that lifts and props open very easy... FYI, an AC on this unit is going near the top, and on the road side, since that is where my electric comes in.

Piano hinged at bottom, 20" high panel which drops down to make a work surface, 3/4 Chi Ply...

Yes, I'll have more substantial supports installed as work progresses...

More work on Sunday scheduled!!!![/url]

What a superb idea!

You get plenty of counter space and loads of storage space.

I'm saving those photos - this is an idea worth 'stealing'!

Red my helper has fixed his moped, and now spends most of his time annoying the neighborhood with it - ringdingdinggie muffler and all.

He thinks that impresses the gurls....

6-03-06 Progress:

Lower front and front framed and installed:

More spars across the roof and framed in the vent:

Inflated the twin air mattress, and once placed inside, promptly poked about 6 holes with my keys.... ARGGGHHHH!!! Gee, the camera refused to work when taking a pic of the "Holy Mattress."

:x

Was going to sleep in it tonight, but not now!
