Here at long last are the pics! As you can see, no frills but fully functional and we love it!

Sherrie,

That looks great! It'll definitely get the job done, and with a quick build like that, you can spend your time camping instead of being a TD builder. But do I spy a ---SUICIDE DOOR--? Oh the horror! If you look around you'll see the subject discussed, but yours looks very secure with 2 barrel bolts and a padlock

Yes, alas, and the bad thing is I was intending to be really conscious of NOT having a suicide door. I was rushing along, though and mounted the hinge strip on the wrong side. Since there are 500 screws in that thing I decided to secure it with the bolts and promise to do better next time!

All things being equal, I guess a 'non-suicide' door is probably preferable. But look at old travel trailers and you'll find that at least a quarter of them have suicide doors.

Whichever way it opens, a trailer door is being constantly being sucked open by the airflow - the idea that the airflow will hold a non-suicide door closed is just wishful thinking.

It is really a non-issue for us, the two barrel bolts hold it just fine.
