Me too !

My backup plan is a dining canopy that can be located much like a rain fly over a tent if I have to. Or perhaps a reflective tarp. But it still looks OH so kool !

PS the tail lights are behind the lexan galley hatch cover. Give the cops something to give me grief about. I do intend to mount an auxilery brake light high and center and mount the license plate light outboard as well as the plate. I an going to convert the dual bulb rear most red clearance light to a stop turn function on 1 bulb for side view of my turn intentions

That is a really neat galley set-up Bob! The lexan roof is such a cool idea too!

Looks very nice, but I was a little nervous about clicking on this thread!
It's scary when you start making the same noises as your coffee maker.

Very nice Bob,

I really like those swing out counters in the galley. How do you think the hinges will hold up over time? Do they seem pretty solid?

What is the total floor plan dimension?

Great job.

Dim's are above !

the 1/2" osb is reinforced with a 1 x 12 # 2 pine lumber. I rounded it to the profile glued and screwed approx every 6 inches. (you can see it in the all osb pictures above ) The hinge screws are 1 1/4" so the penetrate thru the 1x and all most thru the osb. I had to grind off a few points sticking thru before the luan was applied. The cabinet when extended is resting partially on the floor so the hinges only see a part of the load and I intend to support the hatch lid with come type of lift rod or spring assist to lighten the load on the hatch supports. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Anyway #3 will be better towed the frame home Sat. and old what's her name just smiled. God ya gotta love her !

Would love to see pics of the front, curious how far into the curve you carried the lexon, did you use 1/8 inch?

Bob,

Love the chubby. But I must say I am more interested in the plywood car in your gallery. I am a kit car buff. Have any more photos you could share. I would love to know what is going to power it and such.

Thanks a bunch
