Guy,, I used a Min-Wax transparent wood siding stain, but to be real honest I dont know what its make up is,,, it took to wood real good and Min Wax spar varnish is working real good over it,,,, Ill let ya know in a few months or years how its holding up,, Ill also check tonight to see what kind it is,,, ,,

had a heck of a time getting the 4x8 wood stretcher to work but I finally won that battle,,,,,, it was all in the twist of the wrist
thanks fer the kind words,,,,

Suitably impressed

Postby Guy » Mon Jan 16, 2006 6:12 pm

Dear Chip,

Impressed is not the word. I always wondered about the glasses perched fashionably about the scalp, the love of big kopsher pickles, the green swish on your tear, and now, the decorator stain.

AROOPIE BABY!!!!

;)

It's looking great Chip. Not to get off topic but I've been draining pickle jars all my life and always have to throw away the dried out leftovers. I love to drink it but don't really like eating them. Do you "process" the pickles so you get more juice or just eat them. I'm not joking, I've got an 80oz jar of Vlasic Kosher Dills in the fridge but the rest of the family can't eat them as fast as I drink the juice. Keep up the progress and photos. Having a glass full right now.

victor,, iff ya make good friends with ya local deli they will save the juice for you,,, one I frequent on a weekly basis saves the juice for me,, and its free,,,,, they usuall have between 2 and 5 galons in the cooler at any time,,, they use to throw it out now its mine,,, all mine,,I take a couple of quart jugs by and fill them up when I get low

Rotozip is now back with its rightful owner with the threat to never loan it to me again,,,,, heck I couldnt even figure out how to put it and all its gizzmo's back in their proper place and shut the lid,,, damn a bunch of rotozips,,,

thanks for the good words people,,, coming from my peers it means a bunch,,,
