Check out the search at top of page try motorcycle fenders. Can't remember the topic name. Also ebay could be a good starting place. Just food for thought though.

Having looked at those for three-wheelers, the problem is usually that the spindle isn't big enough to work as a cantilever, supported only on one side. Generally the wheels themselves will be strong enough for quite a reasonable weight tear, but you need to support the spindle on both sides to stop it snapping off. This isn't true of all motorcycle wheels, but I don't know how to find the ones with strong spindles!

KH-

Those fenders from JP Cycle didn't say what they were made from.

Anyway check back in their catalog, they do have a bunch of STEEL fenders, some spendy, some not!

You like wire wheels?

Something like these:

There's tons of motorcycle fenders/wheels on ebay. A buddy of mine is building his own bike and I was shocked at the deals he found there. MUCH less than the phone book style catalog prices. There's even sellers on there that will powder coat the rim, and re-true the wheel for very fair prices (really cool retro look). Just watch for guys overcharging for shipping.
