The paint is Duponts mid-line called Chromeacolor. It is the color of a 2003 Cadillac's SUV. called White Diamond. It is a tri-color as you have base coat, pearl coat, then the clear coat. And of course there is first the epoxy, then the primer sander/filler and the primer/sealer. Lot's of fun. :? Now we get to water sand it with 1000, 1500 then buff it out, if I get thru all that without going thru the clear we're finished! :applause:

Thanks.

I want to paint the trailer to match my Jeep. I am working (very slowly) on a off road version and not sure how fancy I want to get. Don't really want to do it all over again after each excursion through the boonies. But after seeing your results, that's then direction I'm going.

Terry,

The paint on your trailer will be just as durable as it is on the jeep. The only difference will be if you hit something hard enough to dent the jeep it will gouge the trailer.

Dents Happen :)

I was more concerned with how easily it scratched. Last think I want to think about before I hit the trail is scratches.

Thanks

Terry,

The trailer should not scratch any easier than the jeep.
