Thanks to all for comments!

" accommodation part is now done ( except decoration - bed and curtains etc.. )
Next I am going to do some welding to my trailer chassic. But
we still have ca.50cm of snow, so I am havin a break about 4 weeks or so.
So "don´t worry" I´ll be back!

( I am building a kayak while waiting and resting....)

Thanks for intrest and great forum!

Hi

Kayak building is going out of threat, but I hope it´s ok to all?
I am going to have whale on back and shark on top :

My idea is to avoid stitches on building and pre make parts as mutch as possible before assemblly ply panels. The kayak shoud be good enough for my purpose.

So I am going to reduce ply panels - flat bottom and curved deck panels - can be made from one ply - no seam on kayaks lengt directions. No stiches are used - panels are glued to bulkheads and framing and hold together with ducktape while adding glasstape.

Most kayak designs don´t have plans for backrest, hatches and footbraces."BAnana sharks" backrest is removable and works as hatch to storage.

Perttu this is an unbelievable build I love all the ideas cant wait for more . Your an inspiration to what can be done with a little creative thought t5he sky's the limit or is it... you have inspired me to at least consider converting my trailer build into a boat build or is it my boat build into a trailer build regardless of the way it is Excellent job  :applause:  :applause:

Hi and thanks for your kind words!

I am having a short pause of trailer build and give some focus to finish my kayak. I always take too many projects.... It should be ready in some weeks - just finishing and painting...( just..)

I hope I will have the trailer ready to begin of June. We will go summer holiday trip with it on end of June - round lake Saimaa. Hoping to do some water trip too - if it´s good enough on water. I will write story with photos of the trip and film some video to youtube.

I change the ladder design, because I need the the trailers chassis to transport another boats. So I drew foldable ladders wfom wood.

I have made some minor modifications to this whale projeckt.

Image

I hawe small bearing problem. One wheel bearing has therrible wear and I have to change it.
Image

It just looks that the bearing is wrom 50`s Russian "Popeda" whecile - and cant´t find new one -
Have to remove the old one and find out how to replace it
