Nice drawings and design. Are the pop up sides going to be rigid? I can really appreciate the garageability and low wind resistance in your plan.

BTW - what's that guy in the lower left drawing doing? 8)

What I am eliminating from the design that is often found on other designs is:

no propane
limited storage
no 12 volt system
no water storage
no utility box in front

I will have shore power only. This eliminates a heavy battery and the place to put it. With this gone and the propane tank not there, I can extend the nose of the trailer to where the utility box would be. Since I am tapering the nose in both plan and elevation, It should remain fairly light in the front and give the needed room for the foot of the bed. This inturn allows room for a shower/toilet. By offsetting the rear door I am able to keep the shower wide enough without having to put a very narrow entry door in back.

Yes riged pop up. The shower area is only going to be about 5'4" high. I plan on the ceiling area over the shower to be covered and to use the poped up area over the shower to locate a small airconditioner when parked.

Nice design. I see similarities between that design and my O.W.W. design.

I don't have running water though.... how wide is your design? Mine is approx 66" to 68" wide...

Since the trailer will be about 5'4" wide and the nose is streamlined it should be pretty good to tow.

The guy in the drawing is doing nothing. He is a camp site slacker!

Yes it is interesting in that I did most of the development before ever comming to this site. I think somethings are just logically arrived at. :)

slightly refined elevation. I plan on a small cube fridge under the long "Couch" side of the dinette. The short side will get two drawers for what whill just about be the only storage. Hotwater heater under the sink will feed the sink and shower all the plumbing is contained in a 12" area. Very efficient. Cooking inside will be a tiny microwave and a single burner hotplate on the small side counter opposite of the sink.

The shower pan is the only drop down. This will give my Wife the abilty to stand in the shower. Me on the other hand at 6'-1" will be crouching.

This will be as light a weight as I can make it. It will be on a HF frame. No brakes so I need to keep the size and weight down. Will that be OK?

I go to all that trouble to give him privacy and he leaves the door open!

In my pop up I am considering changing the design from fold out rigid wall sections to fabric. I amm a little concerned about the ability of the hinged sections effectively sealing out rain water. I was also thinking that a canvas or nylon replacing the fold outs would really cut down on the weight. The fold out if made rigid would probably need to be made out of 3/4" birch plywood or some such. That would amount to about one entire sheet.

Thoughts on fabric?

Getting more realistic in my layout. Changes to dinette size. Cushion size consideration. Shower pan will have to be custom to fit where it is.
