Homebuilt "Lil Guy"

Postby Fancy » Mon Jan 02, 2006 10:39 am

Looking for someone that has a homebuilt copy of a "Lil Guy-Rascal" or a Teardrop of that size. I am interested in a one person unit that I can pull with my 1800 Goldwing

Hi Fancy,
I was at Grant’s shop last week and he has built several motorcycle teardrops. He has the frame made up for his next one. You may want to drop him a line at

Arnereil------My avatar is from a group shot of the Shrine Motor Clown Unit that I belong to. It was taken at a parade here in Iowa. We parade on homebuilt 3 wheelers that do "Wheelies" and "Donuts" on a caster wheel located at the rear of the frame. I have built 7 of these for my unit as well as a calliopy on a pickup made over from a Bolens lawn tractor. I am a 43 year veteran of the autobody profession and have been a woodworker for 30 years. Avaid motorcycle rider of 48 years and looking for ideas for a unit to build for myself. This forum has been a goldmine of ideas.
