Howdy! Anyone in the market for a limo?

Postby New2Me » Tue Jun 27, 2006 4:59 pm

Hey there,

Been reading, lurking and learning a bit about the teardrops... what an idea.... had a larger concept over a year ago... a retired limo!

Yup... a 1984 22 ft white Cadillac Fleetwood Formal... with a pair of rear
couches facing each other. Did a few trips with it and crashed in the back
seats with plenty of "cargo" in the trunk. Still have it and am putting it
up for sale this summer because the teardrop concept became more attractive that finally penetrated though my thick skull....Eliminate the extremely low gas mileage, insurance, expensive mechanical
upkeep and maintanence and there lies the Teardrop.

Haven't gotten to the moment of persistent insanity not just yet... soon though. With the level of interest my Wife has already predicted it would be known as "the Dog Pound".

Can you imagine seeing a TD behind a Limo?

You can stop laughing at any time....

Respectively,
N2M

The quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten, so build your teardrop with the best materials...

Welcome to the board and just start asking questions. It was good to talk to you today. Hope we can get together soon for a more indepth talk. You might want to post some pics of the Limo and maybe put it in the for sale section.

I could easily see a Tear behind a limo........but it would be an 18" Modernistic.

Take 'em to the wedding, let'em do the honeymoon.

I'm seeing big $$$ here guys.

18" Tear. I'm sure there'd be room for a full bar. And a disco.
