Quickly, quickly

Postby stbuch » Sat Jul 15, 2006 7:52 am

My husband is a contractor and VERY familiar with wood, so that helped! Also, once we get an idea to do something, we go like crazy until it's done!

I saw the posting for the North Ala gathering plans, hope it comes to pass.

I am familiar with some of the parks in question and made posts there also.

3 days... I'm impressed. How about some interior shots?

I'll try to get my daughter's camera-my computer is not recognizing mine-I think the port might have been damaged. I have some interior shots on the camera but can't get them downloaded :(

get camping

Postby stbuch » Tue Jul 18, 2006 6:08 am

We've already had it out twice since we built it. The response from people at campgrounds has been fun-everybody wants to see inside!
But then they look at the galley and they are really impressed! I love it!

Nice job

Postby harldydodge1 » Mon Jul 24, 2006 4:52 am

Looks nice how did you build it that fast? I thought I could build mine in about a month but it has taken about 3 months to get it about done. I will be able to put my Harley in it and then camp in it when I get to where I'am going.
I also live in New Market Al. I would sure like to see yours. Where do y'all go camping at (Tim's Ford,Guntersville,Smith Lake) Lets met up. :shake hands:

Are you sure it was three days and not four? :ok:

Started mine back in September thinking it would only take three weeks. It took three weeks just to put the trailer together. And I'm just now finishing up ten months later.

Notice the similarities in our campers.

Looking forward to seeing some pics of the inside.

Yep, three days

Postby stbuch » Mon Jul 24, 2006 12:37 pm

As I said, though, my husband is a contractor so building things is his deal. I have to believe it sped things along (duh). It also helped that we were able to look at things that other builders had done through this website. My husband would have had no idea what I was trying to get him to build without it! :applause:

Thanks to everyone who put their photos on the net. I'm going to try to get more of ours on as soon as I get my daughter's camera (mine died).
