My arrival at the ITG is the last stop on my trip across country. I leave this Sunday. First leg- Central California to Alpharetta. Georgia mostly on
I 40. At Memphis, US 78, then I 20 at Bermingham to Atlanta. Probably take 5 days. Stay with my son untill Tuesday, June 6. Go north on I 75 to Nashville then I 65 to Shipsawanna, IN for Knitting Camp. Leave Tuesday, June 12 for ITG on I 80. Arrive Thursday June 14. Iv'e been working on identifying possible campgrounds and places to see along the way. WIFI connections are a must. Iv'e promised to let my family and friends konw what I'm doing. The trailer is ready and waiting. I got the car serviced Friday. the pet sitter is booked. I'm really looking foward to meeting many of the wonderful people on this forum at the ITG. :vroom:

My two sons and I will leave Geenleaf, Idaho and drive down through Nevada to Las Vegas on Saturday, June 9. From there we'll take a small plane to the middle of the Grand Canyon where we'll board a raft for a four day float back towards Las Vegas. Then a bus ride to complete the trip to Vegas where I'll abandon my sons to drive themselves home. I'll fly to Denver where I hope my wife will be waiting with the teardrop on Wednesday night. We'll then complete the trip to Minden Thursday on I 76 and I 80.
Should be quite a trip.

We are going south thru eastern Washington, Oregon, into Idaho and to Salt Lake City. Then east on whatever road looks good on the map to Minden, arriving on thursday.

After Minden is a zig-zag roadtrip to Maine for a lobster dinner. Then into Vermont, Niagara Falls, Canada, Wisconsin and any other tourist place that catches our attention. Even with 5 weeks of fun on this vacation I think it will still be to short to see all that I want.

Jeff,
Unfortunately, the Jim Dandy won't be ready for Minden. I ordered tires for it from Coker because I couldn't find the size anywhere else. I waited. I waited some more. Finally I called to find out what was going on. Come to find out they didn't have the size in stock and were waiting for a new mold to be made. It's supposed to be done the first couple of weeks in June. I thought they at least owed me an email. At that point I quit working on the Jim Dandy and started getting the Kenskill ready for the trip. That includes some work on the tongue and new paint. So I guess it's the Kenskill again this time.

Jack J,

I have now been on the road for two months doing what you have planned. Started in Reno, NV and have been accross US 50 in NV, UT, CO, KS, MO, IN, IL OH & WV. I left US50 from time to time to go up throgh IA, MI, PA, NY, VT, NH, MA, RI, CT. Also spent some time at Gettysberg and Skyline Parkway.
When I leave Minden I'm hoping to go North and connect with the Lewis & Clark Trail to WA, the OR, CA and home. I have already been on most of the Trail in MO. Will probably be 11-12,000 miles in total.
The strange thing about my travels so far is I have not seen one other Teardrop - will catch up when I get to Minden on the 13th.
