If he would just fill this thing with Jiffy Pop popcorn, he would have the first soup/popcorn kitchen in the pocket. He really needs to learn to think out of the box!

I can see about six reasons that thing has "failure" written all over it.

It relies on heat to maintain it's shape. What happens on a cool night, when you need shelter the most?

The wind will absolutely destroy it.

No padding, no insulation. It's the same as sleeping on the ground, you just can't see the ground.

Unless it's some super space age fabric, it's going to wear through very quickly. Too light, way too much movement.

Rain? Ha!

Ok, that's only five, but you get the point.

So sleeping, rolled up in one of those emergency blankets on the ground is pretty much what i imagine, and what if the "door" is somehow at your feet when the sun goes down and lord I can just see suffocation  and how one would just jump around now that would look like jiffy Pop on the move!!!

The way I see it, we are back to the Jiffy popcorn solution. If the man would have incorporated popcorn into the design, all of the 5 failure modes, plus the one Mary C identified would be eliminated. :R

From the size of the "door", looks as if those of us who are generously sized might be wearing it, rather than sleeping in it!

I really need to re-retire one of these days.
