"Cars" Review

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

The only drive-in we have down here has like 16 screens! It's a ridiculous madhouse, and it's a dump too.

I miss going to a nice one, although I never really went with the intention of actually watching the movie.

However, the girls I went with always had OTHER plans, so I DID wind up watching the film.

Gee, was I pitiful--and I thought begging worked!
Here we go again!

The one we have up here is a little family one screen. The wife takes the money at the booth. And probally the most well taken facility I have I have ever seen.

I always loved the drive-in's! I worked as security at one when I lived in Milwaukee for two years. The 41 Twin eventhough it had 4 screens. That was a pretty fun job for a 15-17 year old. Learned a lot of stuff from car windows. There is a big Insurance building there now!

The is the website for the one I go to now.

It's scary when you start making the same noises as your coffee maker.

Elmer, I stayed through all of the clips where they showed prior Pixar characters as cars, but I thought that was it. You mean they rolled more credits, and played another short when it totally ended, or WHILE the credits were rolling?

Ira,

No, they didn't roll more credits...In true Pixar fashion, AFTER the credits were done, the minivan clip came up. They are kinda sneaky that way...
