This could be a good thing. We've lost so much farming to foreign countries and this could be something to bring back farming to produce the products needed for biofuels. Even the citrus industry is losing out to imported fruit because of the cost of hiring pickers. Real estate is more profitable. I've seen thousands of acres of orange groves here in Florida turn into thousands of acres of housing. Rt. 27 from the turnpike to where I live used to be all orange groves. Now, it's one housing development after another all the way down (mostly retiree developments).
