weird weather

We're in the midst of an unseasonal heat wave today here in Foggy Land.
I took these pics about half hour ago.

We rarely see temps any higher than 75 here on the coast, normally it would be in the mid to high 60's....

Well you know not all the data is in yet on global warming! I'll send you some cactus seeds to replace the redwwoods.

Hey Kevin,

You're right, that's pretty hot up there. I really enjoyed the cool weather at the IRG this year. It was a nice break from the 3 digit temps here in Vegas. You were hotter than it was down here today!

Officially, it got up to 82 here yesterday... The new weather station is located out on Woodly Island, right in the middle of Humboldt Bay.
Here on Humboldt Hill, my neighbor tells me it was 90 in the shade.
This is not good for a Fogcrawler.
It was too hot to work yesterday.
It's lookin' like we're gonna have more of the same today...

So Dean put one of your big ovens out in the sun and see how hot it gets inside. I've never tried it Hmmm. I'll try it here.

I'm not beating it today (ummm errrr... oh never mind) I am trying to get a drainage line put in, whenever I overfill my pond it floods the neighbors garden. So 180 feet of 3" drain. at least the smoke has cleared a bit today! i put the oven out with my meat thermometer in it I will give a detailed report later.
